Ongoing Projects:

Many of the recipients of our funds raised were young children, pictured above, who had lost everything after natural disasters. We can assist communities in need, thanks to your help.

Adhika has spearheaded fundraising efforts since the 1990’s, to provide relief for those who have lost their homes and family members to earthquakes and typhoons. Adhika fundraised and provided emergency supplies in the aftermath of Typhoons Sendong (2011), Haiyan (2013), and Ompong (2018). In 2020, Adhika raised and donated $10,000 to deliver much needed supplies for the emergency needs of Filipino children, and assist students already affected by COVID, who were also hit by three major typhoons.

Emergency Relief for Super Typhoon Odette

Adhika is raising funds for the Nature Kids of Siargao, an organization providing relief efforts for children affected by Typhoon Odette.

Typhoon Odette wreaked havoc on Filipino communities, hitting 1.9 million people and leaving 40,000 displaced. Among those most affected were children on the island of Siargao, who lost their homes and family members and were unable to access basic resources. Alongside the De Santos Martial Arts Foundation, Adhika donated Phil Pesos 120,420 ($3000 Cdn) to feed 1200 children affected by Typhoon Odette since 2021. We continue to raise funds for them, and most recently donated another $2000 to their community kitchen.

Our work is far from done - donate and make a difference today!
