Overview
Our mission is to raise awareness and support for the needs of communities in the Philippines, while engaging in activities here in Canada that foster pride in the Filipino culture and identity. We have been part of several projects that helped many communities in need. Starting from funds for the emergency relief due to the super Typhoon Odette, in collaboration with Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic for the #andmetoo program, and De Santos Martial Arts Foundation.
Some of our workshops include:
Trauma-informed Arnis (Filipino Martial Arts) Workshop sessions
Wellness Workshops for new comers

Ongoing Projects:
Walk to Niagara Fundraising Project Adhika and De Santos Martial Arts
Adhika, in collaboration with the De Santos Martial Arts Foundation, presents a walk to Niagara! Taking place annually in September, join us on a four day walk throughout Toronto, ultimately reaching Niagara Falls. Participants are eligible to walk with us on as many days as they’d like! All proceeds go to DMAS and Adhika to support underprivileged communities. This event began in 2023 and actively continues to date.

Kid’s Club Funding Project Adhika and Nature Kids of Siargao
Adhika continues to provide funds for the Nature Kids of Siargao, whose Kid’s Club provides social and educational activities for children who are still recovering from the trauma caused by Typhoon Odette. It takes place every Saturdays 8am-12pm for children ages 5-12 to play, learn, and grow together. As of 2022, Adhika has raised $5,000 to provide 2000 meals for 30-50 children.
